Don’t be a Baby Reindeer

Baby Reindeer explores how a young man suffers harassment and highlights that victims of abuse can unfortunately be anybody and can take place over a long period of time before a victim asks for help.

Victims, however, do not have to suffer in silence; support is always available and protection can be achieved through the legal system.

A Non-Molestation Order is a family injunction that prohibits an associated person from threatening, molesting or pestering you. This can include unwanted threatening text messages or visiting your home or place of work.

Who is an associated person?

• You are/have been married/civil partners.
• You are/have been cohabiting.
• You are/have lived in the same household.
• They are relatives.
• They have agreed to marry/enter a civil partnership.
• They have or have had an intimate private relationship which was of significant duration.
• In relation to a child, they are a parent or have, or have had parental responsibility.
• They are parties to the same family proceedings.
