April Laughton

April is a Paralegal in the Family Department based across all three offices who assists in relation to public law children matters.

Experience

April is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and continues her legal training  alongside her role as a paralegal. April commenced the Cilex qualification in May 2022 which began her journey to qualify as a Cilex Lawyer.

With strong attention to detail and excellent client care, April assists in children related matters particularly care proceedings. She advises parents and assists solicitors within the department who represent children through children’s guardians in children related disputes between parents. April also regularly attends child protection case conferences and pre-proceedings meetings hosted by social services.

Hobbies & Interests

During her spare time, April enjoys spending time with her family and friends especially her twin sisters, walking and travelling. She also enjoys binging a good series on Netflix.
