Are you Selling a Property?
Jamie Callaghan of our Conveyancing Department encourages all those who are looking to sell their property to act fast and get their properties listed by 23 March 2021. This is the date that English sellers should list their home on the market by if they want to take advantage of the extended stamp duty holiday.
This information is sourced by Rightmove who have worked out that on average it takes 65 days for a seller to find a buyer and on average 126 days thereafter to complete. As such, if sellers want to ensure their buyers benefit from the extended stamp duty, this date works out to be the last date taking the stamp duty exemption to the end of September.
